Elicit: AI Research Assistant Overview Elicit is an AI-powered research assistant designed to streamline research workflows through machine learning automation. This web app offers a range of features to assist users in their research tasks. Elicit can locate relevant papers without exact keyword matches, extract key information, and provide tailored summaries based on user queries.
Additionally, it aids in brainstorming, text summarization, and classification, enhancing the efficiency of research processes. By leveraging language models, Elicit helps users find answers to their questions and optimize their research endeavors. Elicit's strengths lie in automating research workflows, extracting key paper details, and offering personalized summaries.
However, it is primarily geared towards academic research and lacks customization options for keyword matching and summarization settings. Integration with databases, collaborative features, offline functionality, and enhanced security measures are also areas where Elicit could improve.
